The famous McRory's backbar

LeRoy Neiman captured the spirit of the Whiskey Bar when he painted it on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th, 1979.

The $100,000 original is now on display in the Whiskey Bar, along with numbered serigraphs of LeRoy’s other great bar scenes: P.J. Clarke’s, Toots Shor’s, The Pump Room, The “21” Club, and the Irish-American Bar.

seattle's famous watering hole

The Whiskey Bar at McRory’s is a Seattle classic. It has become a favorite watering hole for sports fans seeking a beer or five before Seahawks or Mariners games.

The vast back bar holds one of America’s largest collections of premium spirits. The American, Irish, Canadian, and Scotch Whiskies, vodka, gin, rum, tequila, brandy, cognac, and cordials are featured on three tiers and currently number more than 1600 brands (full menu link at the bottom of this page).

The center tier of McRory’s back bar showcases America’s only native distilled spirit, bourbon. The ever-changing and growing collection currently exceeds 135 labels.

Thirty brass draught beer taps line the bar top in the Whiskey Bar, pouring one of Seattle’s finest collections of beer, and showcasing many craft beers brewed locally.

Since 1977, FX bartenders have proudly poured well over one million pints for our guests.

The beer collection rotates often — view the PDF at the bottom of this page to see our current brews.
